"Poor customer support experience"
I ordered some clothing from this brand, but had to return them due to a musty odor. The fit was off, and honestly, some items didn’t even resemble the photos of the models. I was really let down and returned two dresses, a top, and a skirt on April 16, 2023. Plus, I had to cover the shipping costs myself. As of now, I still haven’t received any response from them. I’ve tried emailing and calling. When I call, it’s always just a voicemail, and I leave messages but never get a callback. I’m out over $300.00 and I want my refund.
"Not good customer service"
I bought some clothes from this company and they had to be sent back because of a musty smell. Their clothes are not what I expected because they don't fit properly and some of them don't look even at all like the pictures of the models wearing them. I was very disappointed and sent back 2 dresses, a top and a skirt on April 16, 2023. I had to pay for the shipping as well. To this date, I still haven't heard back from them. I email them and call them. When I call, all I ever get is a voice mail and of course, I leave a voice mail and don't get any call backs. I am owed over $300.00 and would like my money back.

Just wanted to share an update regarding my earlier review. I received an email from AC's customer support, informing me that they can't hold an order, meaning they can't delay the delivery. If that's true, then why didn't they let me know? Why did they go ahead and ship (some of) my order when they knew I wouldn't be around to receive it?

This is an update of the review below. I got an email from AC's customer service, saying that the company is unable to hold an order, ie, deliver it a little later. If that's indeed the case, why did AC not notify me? Why did AC ship (part of) my order, knowing I'd be away when it arrived?

"Decent service, but the clothes need less 'chemistry'"
I've shopped with April Cornell a bunch of times, and they've been pretty dependable overall. Sure, the sizing can be a bit on the generous side, and they might wanna update their styles to feel a bit more current for what you pay. They really load up on the 'chemistry' in their fabrics, which not only smells off but isn't great for folks or the planet. Honestly, I'd rate them zero stars for not being upfront about the treatments used for wrinkle-free items. I have a reaction to that stuff, so I end up sending those pieces back at my own expense. On the bright side, I've had some luck getting in touch with their customer service to chat about this issue.

"I found the company's service ok - clothes could use less "chemistry""
I have bought from April Cornell many times and I find that they have been reliable throughout. Agreed that the sizing may be generous and that they could refresh their styles to be a tad more modern for the price. They tend to use quite a bit of "chemistry" in their fabrics that smell bad and are bad for people and the environment. I would give them 0 stars for not disclosing treatments for wrinkle free clothing. I react to that so yes, I have to return such items at my own cost. BUT, I have been successful at reaching their customer service and discussing this factor.

"After reading reviews about April..."
After reading reviews about April Cornell, I was thinking of canceling my order for three dresses for my granddaughter. But guess what? I just received my delivery this evening! I placed the order on 02/21/23, and today is 02/23/23. These dresses are super cute, and I really love the fabric; they fit a standard size 7-8. I'm definitely sticking with them and might even try a dress for myself. Thanks, April Cornell!

yesterday after read here about April Cornell , I was going to cancel my order of 3 dresses for my granddaughter. Well I just got my delivery this evening order was place 02/21/23 and today is 02/23/23. These dresses is very cute , I love the fabric and it is stand size 7-8 . "AWFUL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY"
I had a really bad experience with this company. There are so many issues to mention, but the main ones are their terrible customer support and the sizing problems that drive you nuts. You might order your usual size, and (like I did) it could end up being three sizes too big! This sizing issue seems to happen with all their clothes. Plus, returning items costs a fortune since you have to cover the shipping yourself, and they don’t refund any shipping fees at all. If you’re waiting on a refund, just know they take their sweet time getting it to you.

"THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY"
THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY. There are too many things to list to verify this but one big problem is their horrible customer service and another, their crazy sizing issues. You order your normal size and (as happened with me) it can fit a full 3 sizes bigger!!!! This is the case with every piece of their clothing. Then you have to pay a fortune to return the items AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE, as they never refund any shipping costs either way. If they owe you a refund, beware, as they take their sweet time.

"I got what seemed like a nice holiday vest..."
I got what seemed like a nice holiday vest. After waiting three weeks, I got a notification saying the item isn’t available anymore. They refunded my money without any hassle. So, even though I was bummed about not getting the vest, and it took them three weeks to sort it out, they handled the refund properly without me having to do anything. My last order went smoothly. I’m willing to give them another shot.

"I ordered what looked like a lovely…"
I ordered what looked like a lovely holiday vest. After three weeks, I finally received notice that the item is no longer available. My money was refunded without issue. So, while I was disappointed to not receive the item, and while it took 3 weeks for the company to figure it out, they did the right thing without any work from me. My one previous order came without a hitch. I'll give them another try.

"Support? What support?"
I’ve tried calling the customer service number, but no one picks up. They just ask you to leave a message and promise to return your call in a couple of days. I’ve left messages and shot off emails, but it’s like talking to a wall. Honestly, it’s probably best to steer clear of ordering from them since the chances of getting help are slim.

"Customer service doesn’t exist"
Customer service phone number is not answered. You are told to leave a message and they will get back to you in 2-4 days! I’ve left messages, sent emails but nobody ever responds. Best not to order anything from them because the risk is too high.

"Customer Service is Lacking"
The customer service is non-existent. They don’t return calls. It takes days to get a reply to emails. The delays in processing refunds are just unacceptable. This has been the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. The clothing is poorly made in India.
